Douglas Todd Hancock

Douglas Todd Hancock, 51, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital Bluefield Emergency Room. Born April 12, 1970 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Graham Hubble Hancock and the late Doris Mae Cox Mullins. Doug was of the Baptist faith, was a self-employed mechanic and a caretaker. In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry Hancock, Larry Hancock, and Graham (Belinda) Hancock; and a niece, Tina Hancock.

Those left to cherish Doug’s memory are his sister, Amanda Bailey (Blake) of Brushfork, WV; brothers, Dale Hancock (Kathy) of Atkins, VA, and Kirby Hancock (Jayne) of Atkins, VA; niece, Misty Mitchell of Bluefield, WV; and great-nieces, Addison Hancock, Katelynn Mitchell, and Sarah Mitchell; Doug also leaves behind many friends who were like family.

In keeping with Doug’s wishes, he will be cremated.  A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Hancock family.
