Zona Meskinish

Zona Williams Meskinish, 81, of Bluefield, WV, formerly of Bramwell, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026 at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital. Born February 4, 1945 in McComas, WV, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Eva Hodges Williams. Zona was a life-long resident of Mercer County and a graduate of both Montcalm High School and Bluefield State College. She retired from WVDHHR and attended Bramwell Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, Zona was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Meskinish.

Those left to cherish Zona's memory are her son, David Meskinish II and wife, Kira of Princeton,WV and their famiily, grandsons, Nathan Conner and wife, Hayleigh, and Adam Meskinish and great-grandson, Jude Conner; daughter, Terri Brinson and husband, Glenn of Bluefield, WV and their family, granddaughter, Amy Neal and husband, Shane, and great-grandchildren, Jaden Neel, Abby Neel, and Ashton Neel; sister, Jessie Krondon of Hudson FL. She was also deeply loved by her nieces and extended family.

A Memorial Service will be conducted 6:00 PM Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. C.T. Lilly officiating. Entombment will be at a later date at Woodlawn Mausoleum. Friends may call from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
