Willie Johnson

On January 23rd at 10:21pm, Willie closed her eyes to earthly time and opened them to eternity.

Born May 1, 1942 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Georgia Wagner Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Harvey Eugene Johnson, Sr. She was predeceased by stepdaughter Sue Keller. She was a long-time member of Lorton Lick Baptist Church. She retired after many years from Smith Services. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Left to cherish her loving memory is one son Harvey E. Johnson, Jr., and wife Carol of Brushfork; one stepdaughter Rana Jean Jones of Blountville, TN; one brother Albert Wayne (Buddy) Johnson and wife Judy of Rocky Gap, VA; one sister Audrey Irene (Reney) Mitchem of Pinnacle, NC; grandchildren Jeremiah, Courtney and husband Zak, Kala, Justin, Ashley, Nichol, Amanda, and Nick; great-grandchildren Logan, Laken, Lauren, Karissa, Brielle, Kingston, Cohen, Braelynn, Brooklynn, and A.J.; great-great-grandchildren Zane, Kimmy, Braelynn, Cameron, Noah, Chloe, and Kayslee.

Visitation will be held Thursday January 29th from 2 to 3 pm at Craven-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. Due to inclement weather the committal service will be conducted at the funeral home following the visitation, by Pastor Shawn Bragg. Entombment will be held Friday morning with only family present at the Roselawn Mausoleum in Princeton, WV.

Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Johnson, Zack Keaton, Kingston Matney, Bobby Lowe, Kenny Goins, and Nick Belcher.
