William Rupert Whittaker, Jr.

William Rupert Whittaker, Jr., 87, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at a Princeton hospital.

Born on July 10, 1936 in Duhring, he was as son of the late William R. Whittaker, Sr. and Mattie Mitchell Whittaker. He had worked in the construction industry, specializing in drywall.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lou Millirones.

Survivors include his son, Larry (Lawanda) Fontaine or Tazewell, VA; 2 grandchildren, William Brandon (Toni) Fontaine, and Traci (Michael-Joe) Underwood; and 5 great grandchildren, Ethan and Elijah Fontaine, John David Monk, and Aiden and Micah Underwood.

Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated.
