William Russell Taylor

William Russell (Russ) Taylor, 76, of Bluefield WV passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his home surrounded by family. Born March 23, 1946 in Bluefield WV he was the son of of the late Frank and Dorothy McIntosh Taylor. He was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church. He retired from Citizens Communications as a warehouse clerk. Russ served his community as a long time assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America Troop 14. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ann Turner Taylor; Sons Andrew (Andy) Taylor and wife Kiley of Lincoln NE, Charles (Chuck) Taylor and wife Stephanie of Palmyra PA and Jared Taylor and wife Tanisha of Palmyra PA; Brother John (Janet)Taylor of Max Meadows VA, Sister Frances Taylor (Doug) Wenger of Johnstown OH, 7 grandchildren, Mother-in-law June Turner and brother-in-law Joe (Debbie) Turner. Donations to honor Russ may be made to Amedisys Hospice of Bluefield, 545 Airport Rd, Bluefield WV or Boy Scout Troop 14, 651 Rockbridge St, Bluefield WV A memorial service will be held on August 7 at 2:00 pm at Boy Scout Camp Roland 9238 Grapefield Rd, Bastian VA.
