William Parks

William Parks, 63, of Pocahontas, VA, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born on July 24, 1958 in Welch, he was a son of the late Alfred McKinnley and Mary Alice Graham Parks. He had been a resident of Pocahontas, VA for 17 years and was a retired coal miner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Randall Ray Parks.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Workman Parks of the home; a daughter, Misty (Shannon) Lambert of Bluewell, WV of Bluewell; a son, Anthony Parks of the home; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Lambert and Kaileee Lambert; brothers, Norman (Sharon) Parks of Maybeury and Russell (Ellen) Parks of Pocahontas; and a sister, Janice Estep of TN.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Mary Lambert officiating.
Friends may call prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM.
