Wesley Lee Mooney

Wesley Lee Mooney, 69, of Bluefield, WV, passed Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. 

Born November 6, 1955, in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Albert Roy and Mary Emla Short Mooney. Wesley was a lifelong resident of Bluefield, WV. He retired from Kwik Cafe and was a member of the Church of God Prophecy. 

In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by hie brothers, William and Bobby, and a sister, Carol Sue. 

Those left to cherish Wesley's memory are his daughter, Heather Carroll and husband Kenneth of Bluefield, WV; brothers, James Mooney and wife Dorothy of Bluefield, WV, Fred Mooney and wife Brenda of Bluefield, WV, Roy Mooney and wife Janet of MD, and David Mooney and wife Karen of Bluefield, WV; sister, Mary Ann Ferguson of Bluefield, VA; and grandson Jayceon Carroll. 

In keeping with Wesley's wishes, he is to be cremated, and memorial services will be held at a later date.
