Wanda Lee Carper

Wanda Lee Carper, 74, of Larch Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA.

Born on September 4, 1949 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late John nad Ruby Meadows Blackwell. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carper; and a son, Roger Hicks.

Survivors include her son, Bays Hicks of Princeton; a daughter, Rebekah Adams of Wytheville, VA; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Stacy Blackwell, Darrell Blackwell, and Joe Blackwell; and a sister, Dixie Pearcy of Bluewell.

It was her wishes to be cremated and no services are scheduled.
