Walter Thomas Hicks, 68, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at AutumnCare in Elkins, WV.
Born on August 15, 1957 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Walter Hicks Sr. and Mary E. Thomas Hicks. He was a retired carpenter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Hicks.
Survivors include a son, Brandon Hicks of Vivian, WV and a brother, Randall Hicks and wife Vernia of Bluefield.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Euologist David Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
Friends may call prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
