Wade Melvin Yates, born July 23, 1936 Elkhorn, West Virginia and passed away May 22, 2023 Bluefield, Virginia
Oldest son of Walter and Harriet Yates: Walter was a coal miner and last worked at No 9 mine in Filbert, West Virginia.
He served in the US Navy for four years (1956-1960) and retired from Northwest Airlines
He was proceeded in death by his wife Edith Miller Yates
He is survived by a sister Gail Pack of Lakeland, FL; and four brothers Wiley Yates (Mary) of Argyle, TX; Cecil Yates (Audrey) of Bowling Green, KY; Walter Yates (Marian) of Klondike, TX; and Dan Yates (Robin) of Unionville, VA.
Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery.
