Virginia Perkins Green

Virginia Perkins Green, 67, of Sandlick Road, Bluefield went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born May 25, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester Perkins and Thelma Taylor Perkins. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Perkins and Dennis Perkins, and son-in-law, Scott Brooks.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Green of the home; daughters, Melissa Brooks and companion, Brian Syres of Rock, WV, Kimberly Williams and husband, Steve of Rock, WV, and Robin Green of Roanoke, VA; Granddaughters, Adrienne Louthen and husband, Garrett of Roanoke, VA, Krista Brooks, Katlyn Williams, Summer Williams, and Autumn Williams, all of Rock, WV; great-granddaughter, Kendall Louthen of Roanoke, VA; sisters, Judy Moretto and husband, Robert of Montcalm, WV, Carol Farmer of Hartsville, SC, Donna Hubbard and husband, Joseph of Smithers, WV, and Betty Spaulding and husband, Gregory of Bluefield, WV; and brother, Roger Perkins and companion Donna Lynch of Hartsville, SC.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Princeton Community Hospital’s ICU department for their love and compassion during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 24, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where Roger Perkins, Steve Williams, Brian Syres, Garrett Louthen, Bobby Williams, and Matthew Williams will serve as pallbearers.
