Virgil Lee Underwood

Virgil Lee Underwood, 65, of Princeton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at his home.

Born on October 3, 1957  in Richlands, VA, he was a son of the late Mack and Vicie Harman Underwood. He was a construction worker and had lived in Princeton for 24 years.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Cook Underwood; three sons, Tyler, Eric and Zack Underwood, all of Princeton, WV; daughter, Dedire Roberts of Arkansas; 3 grandchildren, brothers, Mack Underwood of Coalwood and Junior Barton of War; and sisters, Stella Whitt of OH, Hellen Adkins and husband, James of War, Sheila Stanley of War, WV, Kathleen Carty of FL, Mary Pyler of NC and Connie Christian of War, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. Friends may call prior to services, 8:30-10:00AM on Sunday.
