Viola Wooldridge

            Viola Childs Wooldridge, 92, of Pageton went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 6^th, 2022.  She went peacefully surrounded by family at her daughter’s home in Skygusty, WV.

            Viola was born on December 14, 1929, in Jenkin Jones WV, and was the daughter of the late Riley Greer and Ethel Childs. She along with her husband and children had been a resident of Pageton, WV for 60 years. Viola was a stay-at-home mother and housewife and was a member of Conklin Town Church of God. Viola had a love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren like no other. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hampton Grat Wooldridge, one son Larry Hampton Wooldridge, and one daughter Juanita Billings.

            Survivors include Daughter Tammy Regina Cox and husband Donald of Skygusty. Their two daughters, Heather Cox of Pageton and Kayla Cox of Boise, Idaho. Son, Charles Ray Wooldridge, and wife Yvonne of Leckie. Their three daughters, Angela Webb of Princeton, Tara Wooldridge of Princeton, and Megan Gail Wooldridge of Abbs Valley, VA. Three granddaughters of the late Larry Hampton Wooldridge:  Robin Wooldridge Duff of Saltville, VA, Lora Wooldridge Griffey of Bristol, VA, and Jamie Wooldridge Sturgell of Thorpe. Also, Two sons of the late Juanita Billings: Gregory Billings Janji of Palm Springs, CA, and Scott Billings of Bluefield, WV. Viola also has 16 great-grandchilden.

            Funeral Services will be conducted at the Craven-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV. Family will gather on Monday April 6^th, 2022, at 9:30am and the family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00am and entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, WV. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends.
