Verlin Arthur Clower, Sr.

Verlin Arthur Clower, Sr., 67, of Rock, WV passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born July 7, 1955, he was a son of the late Richard Cecil and Rosie Belle Dunford Clower. In addition to his parents, Verlin was preceded in death by his children, Robert Hancock, and Michelle Carter; siblings, Judy Clower, Wanda Bond, Jerry Clower, Basil Clower, Jackie Clower, Joseph Harold Clower, and Anthony Clower.

Those left to cherish Verlin’s memory are his sons, Verlin Clower, Jr., and Cephus Arthur Clower; daughters, Angela Carter, Jo Clower, Emily Clower, Joscelyn Clower, and Jacquelyn Clower; brother, James Chester Clower; sisters, Carol Bailey, Reeda Clower, Hazel Clower, Sandra Dedman, and Patricia Morrow; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, April 14, 2023 at Cravens-
Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Sluss officiating. Burial will follow in the Clower Family Cemetery in Rock, WV where family and friends will serve at pallbearers. There will be no visitation. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Clower family.
