Tyler Cole Williams, age 19 of Vinton, VA passed away in a tragic vehicle accident on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Tyler had a kind heart and was loved tremendously by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. 

Tyler attended Montcalm High School and completed his diploma through Penn Foster Virtual Academy in 2023. Tyler was working as a welder after receiving his welding certification in 2024 from Virginia Western Community College. Tyler attended Journey Church in Roanoke, VA. His hobbies included skateboarding, golf, and playing video games with his brothers and cousins online. 

Tyler was preceded in death by his Nana Greta Wilhelm, who cared for him from the day he was born, and his mother Trinia Williams. He is survived by his brothers, Brandon and Dustin Williams of Bluefield, WV; aunts, Erika Bailey of Knoxville, TN and Angelia Ferguson and husband Scott of Muscle Shoals, AL; cousins Rogan and Madon Bailey, and Alyssa and Mason Ferguson; and special friend Keith Pennington of Vinton, VA. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Williams family.
