Timothy Wayne Huff Sr., 64, of Pageton, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
Born on November 21, 1961, in Welch, WV at Grace Hospital, Timmy was the son of Selma Huff and the late Dexter Huff. He was a lifelong resident of Pageton and a man deeply rooted in his community. He was of the Pentecostal faith and lived his life with a generous spirit and a kind heart.
Timmy was a retired truck driver and mobile equipment operator. He was known for his strong work ethic, big personality, and even bigger heart. He never met a stranger—he'd talk to anyone, anywhere, and often joked that he'd talk to a fence post if it talked back. His favorite sayings, "Ahh Buddy" and "See ya later, pal," were often followed by a smile and a story.
He had a passion for making model trucks and woodworking, spending countless hours perfecting his craft. His creative mind and working hands brought joy to those around him.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved mother, Selma Huff, of the home; his son, Timothy "TJ" Huff Jr. and wife Bianca; his special stepdaughter, Megan Majcher, and grandchildren, all of Florida; his brother, Brian Huff and wife Pam of Anawalt, WV; niece Kimberly Richardson and Kevin Richardson of Princeton, WV; nephew Justin Huff and Amber Huff, also of Princeton, WV; great-nephews Logan Richardson and Easton Neal; his loyal dog Duke as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Timmy is also lovingly remembered by his self-adopted family, Jerry and Amy England, and their children-his self-adopted grandchildren-Kayleigh and Jaiden England.
Timmy was known for his warmth, his willingness to lend a hand, and his gift of conversation.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Darryl Christian and Rev. Mary Lambert officiating.
