Timmy Cordle

Timothy “Timmy” Cordle, 66, of Stanaford Road, Beckley, WV, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023.

Born on August 15, 1957, he was a son of the late Herman Junior and Dorothy Mitchem Cordle. He was a retired coal miner and was a member of the UMWA. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Rev. Herman Cordle and Alex Cordle; a sister, Drema Powell, ex-wife, Shelby Mullins, and sons, Timothy and James Cordle.

Survivors include his son, Derrik Cordle of Beckley, daughters, Alyssa Cordle of Charleston ,WV, and Sheila Phipps of Cookville, TN; 5 grandchildren, Kevin, Trenton, Timothy, Destiny and Ryan; and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. Burial will follow at a later date at the Family Cemetery in Beartown.

Friends may call prior to services, from 10:00-11:00AM at the funeral home.
