Thelma Lorena Williams

Thelma Lorena Williams, 97, of Bluefield, WV passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Glenwood Healthcare Center. Born October 9, 1928 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late C.W. and Ella Dove Phillips Goforth. Thelma was a member of Thompson Chapel Church and was an operator and secretary for the telephone company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank George Williams; two brothers, Joe and Phillip Goforth.

Those left to cherish Thelma's memory are her son, Keith Williams and wife, Debbie of Bluefield, WV; brother, Harold Lee Goforth of Bluefield, WV; one grandson, Eric Williams and wife, Delores of Salem, VA; two great-grandchildren, and Siera and Amanda Williams.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Fluller officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
