Terry Lee Coe

Terry Lee “Hound Dawg” Coe, 56, of Abbs Valley, VA, went home to be with the LORD on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.

Born on May 6, 1965 in Welch, he was a son of the late Eulas Haller and Pauline Hundley Coe. Terry was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Coe; sister in law, Patsy Coe; grandparents, James and Reba Coe and William and Effie Hundley; father and mother in law, William and Ola Mae Price.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 22 years, Mary Kathryn Coe who was also his devoted caregiver; sons, Dustin, David and TJ; granddaughters, Bailey Mae and Isabella; grandson, Jackson. He was so proud of his family and dearly loved them. Also surviving are his brothers, Rev’s, James (Wanda) Coe, Sr. of Bluewell, Paul Edward Coe of Conklintown; sisters, Judith Farmer of Bluefield, Kathy (Ralph) Fowler of Thorpe, WV, Tammy (Donald) Dillon of Conklintown, Pam Coe of Anawalt; sister in law, Virginia Mae Coe; and special people in his life, his aunt and uncle, Donald Gene (Vivian) Farmer, brother and sister in law, Harry (Patty) Nolley.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. James Coe, Sr. and Rev. Donald Gene Farmer officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Dustin Coe, David Coe, Terry Lee Coe, Jr., Eddie Price, John Nolley, Cody Dillon, John Coe, Rodney Fowler and Donald Dillon, Jr. will serve as pallbearers. Jackson French will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Friends may call prior to services on Sunday, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family is asking that Covid precautions be taken.
