Shirley Gaynell Agee

Shirley Gaynell Hicks Agee, 90, of Bluefield, WV, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at her home.

Shirley was born December 27, 1931 at Kimball, WV to the late Lee and Alma Hicks of Bramwell, WV. She was a graduate of Bramwell High School. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Agee, Sr. of 62 years.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Ruth Sexton and husband Frank, Linda Jefferson, Jennifer Lee Ulman and brother James “Jimmy” Hicks.

She is survived by her son Robert Lee Agee, Jr. and wife Deborah “Dee” and daughter Paula L. Fink and husband Randy, all of whom reside in Bluefield, WV, sister Connie Blanco of Davie, Florida and sister Brenda Belloso (Rod) of Virginia Beach, VA. Grandchildren include Gloria Preast (D.J.), Joseph Fink (Farrah), Kimberly Novak (Luke) and Aaron Fink (Kelli) and 8 Great-Grandchildren.

Shirley loved her family and friends and cherished the time she spent with them throughout the years. She also loved the Lord with all her heart and lived her life in a way that would be pleasing to Him.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
