Sherry Lynn Miles

Sherry Lynn Miles, 54, of Peterstown, WV, formerly of Montcalm, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Carillion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg. 

Sherry worked for Aramark for over 22 years. Loved to collect Native American and wolf memorabilia. 

Sherry was proceeded in death by her brother James Edward Shrader, adopted Father Olen Kirby, adopted Mother Edith Taylor Kirby, and Biological Mother Wanda Gail Dunford; and 2 daughters, Stephanie Bailey and Kayla Bailey.

Living survivors include Husband of 27 years Jeff Miles of the home, daughters Erica Bailey and fiancé Shannon Grose of Princeton, WV and Jessica Chapman and husband Kevin of Bluefield, WV, son Justin Miles and wife Destiny of Pipestem, WV, Biological Father James “Jim” Shrader of Bluefield, WV, Brothers Dennis Shrader and wife Shonda of Bluefield, WV, Chad Ballard of Paducah, KY, Sister Cynthia “Cindy” Ballard, and Special Cousin and Friend Sarah Sawyer and daughter Lana, Seven Grandchildren Stephanie Grose, Ashtyn Miles, Piper Miles, Silas Miles, Chaysen Miles, Briar Miles, and Kevin Jr “KJ” Chipman.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Roger and Sue Poore officiating. 

Friends may call prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
