Sharon Miles Simpson

Sharon Miles Simpson, 72, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at her home. Born August 31, 1953 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Macile Riggs Miles. Sharon was of the Protestant faith and had retired from manager of WV Bureau of Employment Programs Unemployment Office. In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her sisters, Jacqueline Crumley and Bonnie Conley; brothers, Frankie Miles, Jr. and Willis Miles.

Those left to cherish Sharon's memory are her nieces and nephews, Suzette Crumley of Bluefield, WV, Alicia White of SC, Curtis Conley of AL, Wesley Conley, Jamie Conley, Jeffrey Conley, and Jay Cee Conley, all of Ohio; several great-nieces and nephews; and special friends who could always be counted on, Jason Jones and Teresa Heaton.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, July 31, 2026 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Eulogist David Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
