Sammy Lee Miles

Sammy Lee Miles, 80, of Bluefield, WV, passed July 4, 2023, at Hilltop Center Nursing Home in Hilltop, WV.

Born December 21, 1942, in Pocahontas, VA, he was a son of the late John and Alma Burton Miles. He was a lifelong resident of Bluewell and a member of First Baptist Church in Bluewell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Miles and brother Walter Miles.

Those left to cherish Sammy’s memory are his daughter, Ramona Jones of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren, Courtney and Robert Tracy; great-great grandsons, Carter and Michael Ray; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted Monday, July 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Bluewell, WV, with Rev. James Milam officiating.
