Ruth Anne Ball

Ruth Anne Ball, 65, of Rock, WV passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Born April 15, 1956 in Goodwill, WV, she was a daughter of the late Robert Junior and Lula Jane Dickerson Epperson. She was a life long resident of Rock, WV and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Daniel Ball; 6 sisters and 5 brothers.

Those left to cherish Ruth’s memory are her sons, Joe Ball, Jr. of the home, Johnny Ball of the Home, and Jimmy Ball of Bluefield, WV; brother, Earl Epperson of Bluewell, WV; and sisters, Virginia (James) Ball of Rock, WV, and Cordie (Perry) Taylor of Rock, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Shawn Bragg officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Ball family.
