Ronnie Lee Scott

Ronnie Lee Scott, 68, of Maybeury, WV, went to be with his Lord peacefully February 26, 2023 at his home after a long illness. He was born March 30, 1954. He graduated from high school in Welch, WV and was a member of the Maybeury Church of God for 50 years. He also worked for Ramey Tazewell for 18 years. He loved the Lord, his family, and friends.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Johnson; sister Matha Johnson; nephew, Walter Keith Johnson; adoptive grandparents, Hobert and Artie Scott; and adoptive brothers and sisters, Carol, Buck, Pat, and Nancy.

He is survived by his sisters, Judy Johnson of Maybeury, WV, Pamela Butler of Princeton, WV, and Kathy Gibson and Virgil Lambert of Pearisburg, VA; brother, Ricky Johnson and wife Belvia of Sparta, NC; and two adopted brothers, Clinton Scott and wife Donna and Kermit Scott.

Homegoing service will be conducted on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Maybeury Church of God in Maybeury with Rev. Kenneth Abram and Rev. Dolly Sexton officiating.

Visitation will one hour before the service, from 1:00-2:00 PM.
