Roger Dell Bailey

Roger Dell Bailey, 72, of Northfork, WV, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 at his home. Born January 9, 1950 in McDowell County, WV, he was a son of the late Estill Bailey and Charlotte Bailey. He was strong in his Pentecostal Holiness Faith. He worked many years in the Coal Mines and was very crafty with his hands. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Bailey; granddaughter, Courtney Bailey; sister-in-law, Bonnie Isom; nieces, Amanda Floria and Angela Little.

Those left to cherish Roger’s memory are his wife of four years, Shirley Bailey; daughters, Christina Laffary and husband, Micheal of NC, Crystal Masoud and husband, Karim of Beckley, WV, and Rebecca Burks and husband, Felix of Northfork, WV; son, Roger Bailey, Jr. of Princeton, WV; 8 granddaughters and 4 grandsons.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Proffitt officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Bailey family.
