Robert Dale Shumate, Jr., 78, of Princeton, WV passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 at his home. Born February 18, 1947 in Bluefield, WV, Robert was the son of the late Robert Dale Shumate, Sr. and Dorothy DeRubis Shumate. Robert was a graduate of Concord University and was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam.
Surviving Robert is his sister, Anna Schumate of New York, New York.
In keeping with Roberts wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no public services.
Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Shumate family.
