Robert Eugene Myers

Robert Eugene Myers, 66, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. Born June 23, 1960 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Marie Chrisley Myers and the late William E. Myers. In addition to his father, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, David Estil Myers; his loving mother-in-law, Edith Marie French; three brothers-in-law, Ronald French, Jimmy French, and Richard French. Robert retired as a conveyor belt manager and belt tech for Jim Hamm Repair. He dearly loved his family and sitting on the porch with his beloved wife. One of his greatest joys was working in his yard and mowing his lawn. Robert was loved by all who had the honor of knowing him and he will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish Robert's memory are his devoted wife of 44 years, Ginger French Myers. Robert and Ginger were childhood sweethearts, having met when they were 11 and 12 years of age; brother, Scott Myers and wife, Courtney of Wilson, NC; sisters, Ellen Goins and husband, Gene of Bluefield, WV, and Shirley Ruble and husband, Rusty of Bluefield, WV; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda Dove and husband, Ronnie of Bluefield, VA, Donna Hale and husband, Roscoe of Bluefield, WV, Mary McGlothlin of Princeton, WV, and Nina French; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews who he dearly loved.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, July 6, 2026 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Minister Dan Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
