Robert Anthony Jones

Robert Anthony Jones, 60, of Rock, WV, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at his home.

Born on July 5, 1962 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Carolyn Stanley Wimmer and Dennis Wimmer of Bluefield and the late Hoover Jones. He had been a resident of Rock for 30 years and was a shop foreman for King Retread.

Survivors in addition to his mother and stepfather include his wife, Lorna Bailey Jones of the home’ daughters, Brittany Lane of Bluefield, WV, and Erin (Aaron) Velarde of Roanoke, VA; 2 grandchildren, Chase and Hannah; a brother, Mark (Donna) Jones of Peterstown, WV; nephew Mark (Andrea) Jones and their daughter, Cadence Jones of Princeton; and stepbrothers, Morris Wimmer and Billy Wimmer; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 5:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Friends may call one hour prior, from 4:00-5:00PM.
