Richard "Rick" Bourne

Richard “Rick” Bourne, 66, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Born July 21, 1956 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late G. Steve and Lillian Richardson Bourne, Sr. Rick enjoyed all types of sports, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was retired from the railroad. In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his wife, Roxanne Bourne; a brother, David Bourne; and daughter, Jamie Bourne.

Those left to cherish Rick’s memory are his son, Jeremy Bourne and wife, Christina of Bluefield, WV; brother, Steve Bourne and wife, Vicki of Bluefield, VA; many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Minister Tony Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Bourne family.
