Richard Gene McCroskey

    Jenkinjones-WV Richard Gene McCroskey, 60, of Jenkinjones, WV passed away Thursday June 17, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital.

    Born August 25, 1960 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Betty Childress McCroskey and the late Alex “Herb” McCroskey. He was a former truck driver having last worked for 84 Lumber and Blizzard Mining Supplies.

    In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his Grandparents Brady and Gladys McCroskey, Lensie and Anna Bryant Childress Yates, Brothers; Alex Jr. and Michael “Tony” McCroskey

    Survivors include his mother; his Loving fiance’ , Sara Stallard, a daughter; Amy McCroskey of Martinsburg, two grandchildren; Ava and Ella, sisters; Kathy and husband Kenton Sandifer of Bluefield, VA, Aleta Nance of Welch, and also several nieces,  nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and his loving puppy ”Binky”.

    In Keeping with Rick’s wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.
