Richard Bourne, Jr.

Richard Arlen Bourne, Jr., 52, of Dawson School, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at his home.

Born on January 22, 1970 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Maxine Slade Bourne of Bluefield, WV and the late Richard Bourne. He was a graduate of Bluefield High School, had attended Concord College and formerly worked for Dish Network.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his two sons, Richard Bourne, III  and Nicholas Bourne of Bluefield, WV, a friend who was like a brother, Jan Hendrick Meidinger of Taiwan, Japan, an aunt, Gayla Slade of Chesapeake, VA; many cousins; and his dog and furry friend, Layla.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated with no services.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Princeton Rescue Squad.
