Randy Eugene Nichols

Randy Eugene Nichols, 70, of Northfork, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026 at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital. 

Born on January 15, 1956 in Welch, he was a son of the late James Edward and Patricia Ellen Marshall Nichols. He was a retired roof bolter and coal miner. 

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Nichols. 

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Graham Nichols of the home; a son, Randy Nichols of the home; daughters, Mechelle (Brian) Sopsher of TN, and Patricia (Matt) Asbury of Winston-Salem, NC; 7 grandchildren; brother, Ronnie (Amy) Nichols of Bluefield, WV; and sisters, Darlene (Riley) Greenwall of NC; Betty (Jerry) Fowler of Maybeury, WV; and a sister in law, Carol Nichols of Princeton, WV.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. 

Friends may call prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
