Pastor Randy Green, 65, of Houston Hill Road, Elkhorn, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 30, 2022 with his family at his bedside singing Amazing Grace.
Born on October 12, 1956 in Northfork, he was a son of the late Lonnie and Vennie Mullins Green. He had been a lifelong resident of McDowell County and was the pastor at the Eckman Trinity Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Randy H. Green, Jr.; three brothers and three sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Joan Delp Green of the home; a son, Daniel (Amanda) Green of Elkhorn; daughters Debbie (Bobby) Cyphers of Elbert, WV, and Becky (Jeff) Green of Elkhorn; grandchildren, Aaron (Cortney), Kaitlyn, Nathan (Destiny), Emily, Hannah, Madison, Nicholas, Elisha, Olivia, Conner, Kaisen, Leland, Chloe, and Kiley; brothers Ronald (Shawn) Green of Freeman, WV, David Green of Rich Creek, VA, Stacey (Tina) Green of Peterstown, WV, Louie (Sandra) Green of Nemours; sisters, Patty Kihlmire of Critz, VA, Phyllis (Chuck) Myers of Statesville, NC, Joanne (Gilbert) Riggs of Webster, FL, Junetta (Johnny) Mitchem of Maybeury, WV, and Delores (Leon) Goade of Wytheville, VA.
Homegoing services to celebrate Randy’s life will be on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with his daughter, Evangelist Debbie Cyphers officiating.
Friends may call prior to services, from 2:00-3:00 PM at the funeral home.
