Peggy Ann Punturi

Peggy Ann Punturi, 89, of Bluefield, WV passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at her home.  Born August 10, 1931 in Maybeury, WV, she was a daughter of the late William Howard and Mildred Boley Pack.  She was a resident of Skating Rink Hollow for 80 years. Peggy was of the Church of Christ faith and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gildo Punturi; a brother, Billy Pack; two sisters, Janice Greenwood and Joyce Crabtree; and a grandson, Ryan D. Punturi.

Those left to cherish Peggy’s memory are her sons, Bobby Punturi and wife, Linda of Bluefield, WV, and Roger Punturi and wife, Terry of Princeton, WV; daughters, Mary Punturi of Bluefield, WV, and Connie McKinney and husband, Wayne of Bluefield, WV; one grandchild; 2 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Minister Tony Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.cravens-shires.com.  Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell is serving the Punturi family.
