Patricia Hughes

Patricia Ann Hughes, 68, of Pageton, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.   Born on January 25, 1949 in Pageton, she was a daughter of the late Samuel L. and Dorothy (Kirk) Moore. She had been a lifelong resident of Pageton and was retired from Tug River Health Clinic. She was a lifelong member of the Pageton United Methodist Church and was a current member of the Thorpe United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women.   Survivors include:   Husband of almost 50 years (October 14), Edward A. Hughes of the home   Sister:   Gloria Weinman of Princeton   Brother:               David (Anita) Moore of Princeton   Niece:   Elizabeth (Reza) Sheibaniagdam of Silver Springs, MD   Great niece:       Ashley Sheibaniagdam of Silver Springs, MD   Nephew:             Rusty Ankney of Ohio   Several extended family and friends   Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Bill Crawford and Rev. Gerald Roberts officiating.
