Patricia Cope

Patricia Lawless Cope, 59, of Northfork, WV, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at her home. Born December 12, 1966 in Welch, WV, she was a daughter of the late Mack and Barbara Mills Lawless. She was a life-long resident of Crumpler Mountain. Trish, as she was known, loved nature and animals and she was kind to everyone she met. In addition to her parents, Trish was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Cope; brother, Jerry Lawless; brother-in-law, Coleman Cope; and great-grandson, Dwayne Jamal Cope.

Those left to cherish Patricia's memory are her daughter, Melissa Cope of Arlington, VA; sisters-in-law, Donna Viert of Arlington, VA, and Brenda Cope of Arlington, VA; one grandson, Noah Anthony Cope.

A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. All who plan on attending the service at asked to meet at the cemetery.
