Oreatha Shrader

Oreatha McCoy Shrader, 85, of Denver, North Carolina, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, September 29th surrounded by her family.

She was a resident of North Carolina for the past 13 years, having previously lived in Pageton, WV.

Born on July 17, 1938 in laeger, WV, she was the daughter of Oscar & Elizabeth McCoy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Rufus, a grandson; Brett Shrader, brothers; Junior, Pat, Frank, Otis & Ronnie and sisters; Lucille Coleman and Wanda Bangert.

She leaves behind 2 sons, 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren & 4 great grandsons. Sons; Rod Shrader & wife Debbie of Rocky Gap, VA, Cecil "Ray" Shrader & wife Teresa of Maiden, NC. Daughters; Creatha Walker and husband Rodney of Maiden, NC, Susan Davis & husband Mark; Tracie Walker and husband  Brian of Denver, NC. Grandchildren; Justin Walker & wife Emily, Abby Taylor and husband Josh, Josh Shrader and wife Morgan, Andy Davis & wife McKenzie, Kellie Jo Sherrill & husband Jeremy, Maddux Walker and Braxtun Walker, and great grandsons; McCoy, Milan & Mathis Walker and Jaxton Taylor.

She also leaves behind brother, Carl McCoy and sisters; Linda Auville all of laeger, WV.

Graveside service will be Monday, Oct. 2nd 2:00 pm with Leroy Blankenship and Junior Shrader officiating at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV.

Pallbearers will be Justin Walker, Josh Shrader, Andy Davis, Maddux & Braxtun Walker and Jeremy Sherrill.
