Norma Gail Ball

Norma Gail Ball, 70, of Bluefield, WV went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 8, 2025 at PCH. Born February 26, 1955 in Welch, WV, Norma was a daughter of the late Lawrence "Slim" and Bessie Graham Mitchem. Gail was a great mother and grandmother. She was God fearing and loving friend. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Ball; brothers, Earnest, Rusty, and Ray Mitchem; sisters, Pez Mitchem, Mary and Pricie Lambert; granddaughter, Randee Vaughn; and three great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Norma's memory are her daughters, Tammy Ball, Tanya "Tater" Ball, and Cindy Gail (Randel) Vaughn, all of Bluewell, WV; brothers, Jack and Benny Mitchem, both of Indiana; sister, Jane Rose of Brushfork, WV; grandchildren, Aaron (Jessie) Abram, Katelyn (Lee) Asbury, Kindale (Siarrea) Abram, and Saraleigh Vaughn; great-grandchildren, Bentley Abram, Bryson Neal, Isabella Abram, Adalynn Asbury, and Andrew Asbury.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Abram officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
