Rev. Nora L. Robinson Bishop, 79, of Princeton, WV was called home to be with the love of her life, Jesus Christ, on Monday, September 8, 2026. Nora was born in Charleston, WV, the daughter of William L. Robinson and Martha Jones Thomas. Nora was raised by her grandmother, Elva E. Holiday of Greenbrier, Co., WV and her father, William L. Robinson of Kanawha Co., WV.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bishop, who was the love of her life.

Nora attended Charleston High School and later continued her education by attending WVU, Concord University, and Bluefield State College.

Nora was an ordained minister with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church Conference, Dublin, VA and had ministered the Word of God since June 1969. She had pastored the Roderfield Pentecostal Holiness Church, Roderfield, WV and the Tazewell Pentecostal Holiness Church, Tazewell, VA. Nora's ministries stretched far and wide, and she loved ministering to those in nursing homes, and prison ministries. She ministered to those residing in Elkhorn Towers, Welch, WV, Golden Harvest, Welch, WV and McDowell Nursing and Rehabilitation, Gary, WV, along with Prison Ministries at The Alderson Women's Prison, Alderson, WV, The Federal Correctional Institute Men's Prison, Beckley, WV, and the McDowell County Correctional Center, Welch, WV.

Those precious to her and safely tucked away in her heart are her children, Freddy, Tammy Lynn and husband, Kevin Williams, Kim and husband, John Earls, and Ricky Lee and wife, Joann Bishop; grandchildren, Courtney, Chandler, Cadyn, Aboni, Rebecca, Lorelei, Ryker, Little Ricky, Chad, and Kendra and Sidney Earls, all of whom she dearly loved; great-grandchildren, Anna Mae Bishop, Violet Holbrook, Griffin Perdue, Declan Holbrook, Ricky Joe Bishop, and Mavis Smith

Nora was a lady who enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren, and spending time with people. The highlight of her life was her ministry. During her lifetime, Nora touched the heart's and lives of countless numbers of people with her love, compassion, and ministry. She never met a stranger and leaves behind many beloved friends that she cherished.

A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Pastor Dana Truckenmiller officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Bishop family.
