Nicholas Hornick

Nicholas Hornick, 70, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Fayette Nursing and Rehab. Born September 25, 1953 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Nick Hornick and Maxine Morrison Clower. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluewell and had worked at the Woodlawn Greenhouse in Bluewell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Johnnie Clower, Sr.; Cliften Clower, and Leon Clower.

Those left to cherish Nicholas’ memory are his brothers, Philip Hornick and Danny Hornick, both of Bluefield, WV; step-brothers, Johnnie Clower, Jr., Timmy Clower, and Rodney Clower; half-sister, Linda Wyatt; friend, Bernadette Perdue of Montcalm, WV and special friend, Vi Levitt of Bluewell, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. James Milam officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Hornick family.
