Nancy Annette Tilley

Nancy Annette Tilley, 76 of Lake Worth, FL passed away on March 6, 2024, at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility.  She was the youngest child born to the late Sidney A. Tilley, Sr. and June Taylor Tilley, on July 25, 1948, at Montcalm, WV. 

Nancy’s life was well-lived with three brothers who preceded her in death, George (Arleta) Tilley, Randy (Liz) Tilley, Sidney A. (Ruth) Tilley, Jr, and one sister Marilynne Tilley.  One brother succeeds her, Conley (Jeanie) Tilley. Also surviving are nephews, Michael Tilley (Lisa) of Troutville, VA, Daniel Tilley (Candace) of Huntersville, NC, Greg Tilley (Jenny) of Lynchburg, VA, Thomas Tilley of Lakeland; and nieces, Lou Ann Tilley West (Stephen) of Russellville, TN, and Catherine Tilley of Oak Hill, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed many friendships in her neighborhood and in her church when she attended Palm Beach Church of God.  She also loved and cared for several four-legged pets. 

Nancy had the privilege of knowing special friend Maria Gomez who cared for her and her sister for many years.  Our family is also eternally grateful to Holly Olerich, who became her guardian, advisor, and companion, especially in the last months of her life.

Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Paul Day officiating at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, Bluewell, WV. Burial will follow at a later date at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Bluefield.
