Nancy Gaye Belgrano

Nancy Gaye Belgrano, 72, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at her home. Born on July 14, 1949, she was a graduate of Graham High School and she received a bachelor’s degree from Bluefield State College. Over the years, Nancy worked as a cosmetologist and held several positions in communications and customer service before retirement.

She was the daughter of the late William Herman Patton and Nancy Margaret (Graham) Patton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Robert Patton; sister-in-law, Glenda Patton; and brother-in-law, Charles S. Nichols, Jr.

Those left to cherish Nancy’s memory are her daughter, Angela Vaselaros of Roanoke, VA; sisters, Mary Frances Nichols of Bluefield, WV, Wanda Jean Meadors of Cibolo, TX, and Christa Hope Lowe of Bluefield, VA; brother, Joseph L. Patton of Bluefield, VA; brothers-in-law, Wallace Meadors and Willie Lowe; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Nancy loved music, dancing, gardening, reading, and animals of all kinds, especially cats. She was known for her bright green eyes and big smile. She never met a stranger. Nancy was loved by her family and friends and will be truly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 7 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Brent Ferrell officiating. Friends may call prior to services on Friday, from 6:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 at Monte Vista Park Cemetery.
