Michael Anthony Umberger

Michael Anthony Umberger, 54, of Bluefield, WV passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital. Born December 7, 1970, he was a son of the late Nathan Alva and Louise May Flowers Umberger. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Edward Umberger.

Those left to cherish Michael's memory are his sons, Jefferson Umberger of Bluefield, WV, Jonny (Faith) Umberger of Bluefield, WV, and Joshua (Courtney) Umberger of Athens, WV; brothers, Christopher Malcolm Umberger of Bluefield, WV, and Jason Alexander Umberger of Bluefield, WV; sisters, Bertha Evelyn Stanley of Bluefield, WV, Pamela Renee Rollyson of Summersville, WV, and Melissa Ann Umberger of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren, Hunter Lee Hancock, Tucker Ray Hancock Umberger, Kinsley Marie Umberger, Wilder Skipworth, Kristen Umberger, and Jensen Umberger; nieces, Brooklyn Beylan Nicole Coates.

Funeral Service will be conducted 4:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Brother, Jason Umberger officiating. There will be no visitation. In keeping with Michael's wishes, he will be cremated following the service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Umberger family.
