Michael Anthony Hodges

Michael (Mike) Anthony Hodges, born on December 5,1969 passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53, on July 30, 2023, at Princeton Community Hospital.

Michael was loved dearly and could make a friend anywhere he went. He loved the outdoors, especially working on vehicles or anything with an engine just to sell it and turn around and do it all over again. Michael loved cooking, he could make the best French Toast, and Biscuits and Gravy. If you never had them, you truly missed out.

Michael was proceeded in death by his loving parents Oney and Sue Hodges, his sweet, beautiful, loving, and caring daughter Christie Hodges (Whittaker), and his handsome, nephew Jon-Jon Catron.

Michael is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Kaileigh Hodges and Brittany Hodges. Mike had one brother and four sisters. Lee & wife Rhonda Hodges, Teresa & husband Todd Cookman, Anna Catron & her significant-significant-another Timothy Price, Norma Hodges & her significant-other David, Connie Keziah & her significant-other Danny Gillespie. His six grandchildren, Heidi Hodges, Ashton Whittaker, Anthony Whittaker, Acedees Whittaker, AJ Whittaker, and Amiah Whittaker who Mike loved and adored dearly. His four nephews, Jeffery Catron, Christopher Hodges, Brandon Carroll, Joseph Bailey and four nieces Jessica Lunsford, Samantha Whitt, Brianna Sands, & April Bailey. Also, Michael left to cherish his memories is his long-term significant other, Tracie England of 14 years. Mike truly loved and cherished Tracie so much. Mike and Tracie made so many wonderful memories over the years. Michael will be missed by so many. 

Funeral services will be held, Friday, August 4, 2023, at 4:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel, with Jim Kestner officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Hodges family.
