McKinley "Kenny" Christian 83 of Lindside, WV entered his enternal rest on December 7, 2025. Born on January 13, 1942 in Welch, WV he was a son of the late Monroe and Chloie Combs Christian. McKinley lived a life marked by devotion, hard work, and unwavering love for his family. A faithful man with a servant's heart, he followed the Lord with quiet strength and lived each day with humility and purpose.

McKinley was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joyce Christian, and found great comfort in knowing he would be reunited with her again.

He attended Dry Pond Reg. Baptist Church and Wikel Community Baptist Church. He was also a proud member of New Hope Tabernacle Church where his faith remained a guiding light throught his life.

A hardworking man by nature, McKinley lived a life built on dedication and grit. He loved coon hunting, farming, and working at the sawmill, and he could often be found on a dozer, backhoe, or repairing equipment doing the things that brought him joy and purpose. His strong work ethic and steady presence will forever be remembered by all who knew him.

McKinley is survived by his children David (Melinda) Christian, Keith (Cindy) Christian, Sarah Riffe (Carlton), and Brenda (Joe) French. His siblings: Robert Christian, Hobert Christian, Hazel (Jimmy) Halstead, Lonzo (Sharon) Christian, Ruby (James) Copeland, Shelby (Ivan) Paynter, Phyllis (Kenneth) Shrewsbury, Jerry (Delcie) Christian. McKinley leaves behind alegacy of love through his grandchildren: Kayla Christian (Wesley), Karissa Dunn (Wayne), Kelsey Christian (John), Heith Christian, McKinna Christian (Dalton), Krystal Furrow (JJ), Brian Comer (Leta), Brandon Comer (Debra), Brad Comer (Rachel), Abigail Page (Jacob), Maggie Ganoe (Kaleb), Brayden French and Alley French. His joy carried on into the next generation through his great-grandchildren: Bennie Ray Furrow, Waylon Furrow, Ryker Furrow, Brelyn Dunn, Ean Dunn, Kensley Thomas, Christian Page-Payne, Walker Thomas, Natalie Lankford, Tannley Comer, Tucker Comer, Tate Comer, Ty Comer, Truvy Comer, Tory Comer, Lily Comer, Lelan Comer, McKinley Comer, Benjamin Comer, Stihl Comer, Addy Comer.

McKinley was preceded in death by one great-grandchild Tristyn Comer and two siblings Lola Jean Christian, and Joseph Christian.

A special note of gratitude is given to McKinley's sister, Shelby, for the compassionate care and support she provided after the passing of his wife, Joyce. Her kindness brought him comfort, companionship, and peace during one of the hardest seasons of his life. McKinley will be remembered as a faithful man with an unwavering work ethic and a deep love for his family. He worked hard, lived humbly, and loved wholeheartedly. Though he will be greatly missed, his legacy lives on in the hearts of the many who loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday December 10, 2025 at Lindside Christian Church with Pastor Phillip Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Wikel, WV. Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM (noon) till time of service at church. Pallbearers will be David Christian, Keith Christian, Brian Comer, Brandon Comer, Brad Comer and Heith Christian.
