Mary Dainese Martin

Mary Dainese Martin, 82, of Meadow Street, Bluefield, VA, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg, VA.

Born on February 19, 1943 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Lacy Gordon and Virgnia Mae Yopp Gillenwater. She was a homemaker and was a lifelong resident of Bluefield. She was a homemaker. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard David Martin, Sr. and a brother, Daniel "Toad" Gordon. 

Survivors include 2 sons, Richard David Martin, II and Danny Roger Martin, both of the home; a grandson, Christopher Martin and two granddaughters, Brittany Murray and Kayla Poleti. 

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital; Ashley Darago and the staff of Bluestone Health in Bluefield, VA. 

Mary's wishes were to be cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time.
