Marvin Daniel Pilkins, 41, of Bluefield, WV, stepped into Heaven Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Hospice of Southern WV in Beckley with his mother by his side. Born September 19, 1985, in Bluefield, WV, he was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and a friend. He was the son of the Betty Pilkins and the late Charles R. Wimmer. In addition to his father, Marvin was preceded in death by his grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Those left to cherish Daniel's memories is his mother, Betty Pilkins of Bluewell; brother, Timmy Pilkins and wife, Heather of Bluefield, WV; sister, Cherie Waddell of Bluewell, WV; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In keeping with Daniel's wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no public services.
Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Pilkins family.
