Martha Kay Thornhill

Martha Kay McGlothlin Thornhill, 62, of Bluefield, VA passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023 at her home. Born June 10, 1960 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Jack McGlothlin and Wanda Eldina Buchanan Catron. Martha was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a son, Jason Michael Thornhill and her step-father, Johnny Catron.

Those left to cherish Martha’s memory are her husband of 38 years, Steven Thornhill; daughter, Tonesia Cross of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Bobby McGlothlin of Bluefield, WV; sisters, Debbie (Dale) Fisher of Bluefield, WV, Wanda (Gary) Woods of Roanoke, VA, and Karen (David) Taylor of Spanishburg, WV.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Mabe officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Thornhill family.
