Martha Ann McPeak

Our beautiful Mother Martha Ann McPeak (nee Hubbert) , 77, of Narrows, VA, left this earth April 28, 2022 to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ and the love of her life our father Gentry E. McPeak.

Born January 17, 1945 in Fayette, AL, to Aaron Howard Hubbert and Ruby Lee Clay she was the last surviving member of her family being preceded in death by 3 brothers James, Terrance and Aaron Hubbert and 2 sisters Linda Hubbert and Doris Harbin and 1 great grandson Ayden Knight.

Martha loved and spoiled her 6 children Linda Sperry (Jay) of Mt Jackson, VA, Esther Comer (John) of Narrows, VA, Gentry McPeak Jr. (Jeanie) of Pinnacle Rock, WV, Robin Frame (Mike) of Bassett, VA, Tony McPeak (Dana) of Forest hills, WV, Timmy McPeak (Missy) of Bluewell, WV. The light of her life was her 14 grandchildren, Christopher Frame, Debra Frame, Gene McPeak( Brittney) , Michael Frame, Zachary Frame, Amanda Cornett, Cameron Comer all of VA,  Stephanie Comer-Gibbon (Ian) of UK, Chris Hubbard of DE, Lisa Dyson (Ricky) , Alyssa Simpson(Dustin),  Aaron McPeak,  Cody McPeak ,  Alana McPeak all of WV

She was truly blessed to have 18 great grandchildren, Hayden, Harley and Lakyn Frame, John and Ellis Dyson,  Kloe and Gabe Cornett, Sophia and Ella McPeak, Steven Simpson, Trinity and Serenity  Knight, Mason,  Kaylee, Levi and Sophia Simpson, Bentley and Arielle McPeak.

Martha loved her flower garden and had a green thumb when it came to growing gardens, She loved helping teach Sunday school and bible school and doing crafts with her grandkids.  She since of humor and her wonderful southern cooking will be missed by all left to cherish her memory ,

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Michele Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where Chris Frame, Gene McPeak, Michael Frame Jr, Zach Frame, Cameron Comer, Cody McPeak, Aaron McPeak, Chris Hubbard, Ricky Dyson, and Dustin Simpson will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services on Monday, from 10:00-11:00, at the funeral home.
